@Its_ereko@rufumuza come and see your messiahs of democracy and human rights defenders you always support. They are treating Africans like second hand humans what a shame!
Fellow Ugandans, especially the Bazzukulu. Tomorrow is Heroes Day. I will address the country live on TV, radio and social media at 10:00am.
Please tune in as we commemorate our heroes and discuss matters concerning our country.
. @mkituuma "We strongly condemn all acts of mob justice. Such actions are unlawful, undermine the rule of law, and often result in the loss of innocent lives.
We urge members of the public to refrain from taking the law into their own hands under any circumstances. Where a suspect is apprehended, they should be handed over to the nearest police station or relevant authorities without being subjected to torture, assault, or any other form of harm.
The public is reminded that participation in mob action constitutes a serious criminal offence and may attract charges, including murder.

Big day for the @UgandaMediaCent team!
We joined forces with the Presidential Press Unit at State House to photograph Uganda’s new cabinet — and the results are exceptional.
Massive congratulations to lead photographer Joel Zimbe, his deputy Sharif Nsimbe, and the incredible Ramlah Kakumba — a 20-year-old intern whose dedication and talent shone throughout.
@AbuMwesigwa and your team, thank you.
Grateful for the PPU’s collaboration and long may we work together.
We build Uganda together!
Today at State House Entebbe, I witnessed the swearing-in of the newly appointed members of Cabinet. I congratulate them upon taking the oath of office and wish them success as they undertake the responsibility of serving our people and advancing Uganda’s transformation.
I met with the World Health Organization Director-General, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, who called on me at State House Entebbe.
We discussed the Ebola outbreak in the region and the measures needed to strengthen prevention and response efforts. I stressed the importance of community awareness, early detection, and cross-border collaboration.
Uganda has experience in mobilizing communities to confront public health challenges, as we did during the fight against HIV/AIDS. Through science, leadership, and cooperation with partners such as WHO, we can continue to protect our people and strengthen regional health security.
