Tuesday evening run from Bala up the Hirnant Valley towards Lake Vyrnwy (about 9.5 miles from Bala Lake to Lake Vyrnwy). Different countryside; poorer housing and Airbnb refurb alongside each other highlighting individualised nature of rural deprivation

Another run from Bala this evening. This time from Bala Lake over the top to Tryweryn via Llidiardau. This is remote rural territory but interesting to see two rural primary schools still open

Spending quite a bit of time around Bala in North Wales so taking the opportunity to explore rural Wales at its finest. Tonight: the bridge over the River Dee at Llandderfel, 4 miles from Bala.
