‘Ready, steady…go!’ We love our ‘training camps’ pre sports day! We are working on endurance skills in our ‘obstacle garden’, balance skills in our egg and spoon area and of course we do like a little rest, relax and reflect! #PencHCI #PencACL #PencHWB

We do love games so we have used our ‘fastest finger’ to help us embed where capital letters belong, search for tricky words and discuss punctuation. It was a little like a nail salon with the children asking for a variety of nail colours!! #PencLLC #PencACL

We used our digital skills to produce a dictionary to help us understand the meaning of some words associated with lighthouses (tall,tower buildings!) We have also drawn our own lighthouse - even made a Welsh one! #PencLLC #PencDCF #PencACL #PencCYM

Looking after our downstairs woodland is thirsty work and like all good gardeners we stopped for a ‘cuppa’ @GWandShows what do you think? We also talked about the importance of sustainability and we used reusable cups and plates. Right - let’s get back to planting!#PencSCI

We loved showcasing our prints and art work inspired by Sarah Hopkins. We were also able to see Sarah’s work on display in the hall. A real inspiration. We also used our newly learnt skills in our Literacy session to build our setting for our film portrayal of ‘Piper’. #PencEXP
