"Good. That death was too quick for her."

Her tone is suddenly very dark.

"You okay, Jinx?"

"We'll deal with all that when we get back to Wonderland. It's fine. My fault about the blood, DM."

@mygfisgreat @HauntedDollGirl Penny takes the inhaler and takes in a sharp puff. It takes a moment for the medication to take effect. She takes a shaky breath.

"Around the corner. Sorry. Dollmaker, I can see what I can do about that metal once we get back. You-" she coughs. "You good?"

@mygfisgreat @HauntedDollGirl Penny takes the shoulder, still coughing and wheezing, barely taking in any oxygen. Her head spins.

"Dollmaker," she manages, breathily. "Inhaler. Back pocket."

She's been doing a decent job of working through the pain, but now that they're free of danger, the smoke inhalation and the strain of carrying another whole person are catching up. She wheezes, trying to catch her breath.
