A major news story that will not get the coverage it deserves:
Over 300 schoolchildren and 12 teachers have been abducted by gunmen from St. Mary’s School, a Catholic institution in north-central Nigeria’s Niger state.
This updates an earlier count of 215 schoolchildren.
The students are male and female, ranging in age from 10 to 18.
Their kidnapping happened four days after 25 schoolchildren were seized in similar circumstances in neighboring Kebbi state.
Nobody yet claimed responsibility.
Our own govt now plotting with Thames Water against the interests of customers and bill payers. Who'd have thought it.
Brilliant scoop by @guardian
Varun Chandra the man currently tasked by No10 with finding a private sector solution for Thames Water, and preventing it from being nationalised, until recently ran and still owns millions of pounds worth of shares in a corporate intelligence company called Hakluyt who since 2023 has been working for... yep you guess it, Thames Water.
"Several politically connected Hakluyt employees have also been advising Thames, including a former speechwriter to the chancellor, Rachel Reeves, and Rishi Sunak’s former deputy chief of staff."
"It is understood that Hakluyt has been working closely with Thames’s strategy director, Cathryn Ross, a former chief executive of the water regulator Ofwat, since 2023. Sources said Hakluyt had been paid more than £1m by Thames in that time." And let me remind you that will be bill payers money."

Freedom of speech means freedom to cause offence. The number of supposed liberals who’ve fallen at this most basic hurdle, because for the first time in their lives they risked losing the approval of their tribe, has been staggering.
A Simple List of Key Allegations Involving South Yorkshire Police Officers.
- A 12-year-old White girl was raped in the back of a marked police car by a serving Pakistani police officer
- A police officer helped facilitate the kidnapping of a child and her detention in a rape house for 10 weeks
- Police officers supplied Class A drugs to grooming gang members. In return for access to victims? Or to help drug their victims? Both?
- Child victims of gang rape were violently assaulted in police custody, including being beaten while locked in cells
- Police officers ripped up written statements made by children begging for help
- Officers blackmailed victims for 'sex', threatening to return them to gang members if they did not comply
- Operation Linden (2022) examined 47 current and former officers, finding 8 cases for misconduct, 6 for gross misconduct, but no criminal prosecutions or dismissals - only internal disciplinary actions such as written warnings or management directives.
- Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) conducted a five-year investigation reviewing 265 serious allegations. During this time, not one single officer was prosecuted. Zilch!!!
The Rotherham scandal is no longer just about the Pakistani Rape Gangs. It is about a police force that enabled abuse, officers who took part in it, and the IOPC that protected them.
Yet despite the overwhelming evidence against @syptweet and @policeconduct , the Home Secretary @YvetteCooperMP, remains silent and is refusing to instruct the National Crime Agency take over the investigation.
Why? In what world can this cover up continue?

The truth about the Pakistani Rape Clans in Britain isn't just uncomfortable. It's a national shame.

I don’t have corporate sponsors. I don’t have a party machine behind me. I don't have corrupt police officers that will dawn raid the homes of those we oppose or friends in the legacy media that will publish slurs.
What I have is more powerful. I have you - ordinary people who understand what’s at stake and why this fight matters.
Thank you for standing with me.

Another Girl, Another Cover Up, Another Case of Lessons Never Learned
Warwickshire Police have confirmed that a 12-year-old girl in Nuneaton has been raped.
Two men have been charged: Ahmad Mulakhil and Mohammad Kabir, both 23 years old, both Muslim, both Afghan asylum seekers who crossed the Channel on small boats. Both men lived in taxpayer-funded housing managed by Serco under a £1.9 billion government contract.
The charges are as grave as they come. Mulakhil faces allegations of vaginal and oral rape. Kabir stands accused of aiding and abetting rape, strangulation, and kidnap.
The crime itself is horrific. But what happened next should terrify every single one of us. The public were not supposed to know who these men were.
According to a source quoted by the Mail on Sunday, Warwickshire Police advised local councillors and officials not to reveal that the suspects were asylum seekers, fearing it would “inflame community tensions.”
Think about that. Elected representatives were told to stay silent and not inform the people they serve because the truth might provoke anger.
Does that sound familiar? It should. This is the same logic that enabled the grooming gang cover-ups in Rotherham, Rochdale, Oldham, Telford, and towns across England. The same reasoning that told officials it was better to protect the illusion of “community cohesion” than to protect our daughters.
- Should we not be told if Afghani asylum seekers housed in HMOs are kidnapping 12 year old girls and raping them?
- Would you let your daughter or grand daughter out on her own if you lived near a HMO with asylum seekers if you knew of the risk of what would happen to her?
- Just what do you think will happen in villages, towns and cities across the United Kingdom when tens of thousands of Afghani men once they are given leave to remain and left to 'integrate' in to our society?
We were promised those days were over. We were told lessons had been learned. Yet here we are again.
Oh, and notice the silence from the government?
- Where is the statement from the Home Secretary, Yvette Cooper confirming police forces will be instructed to reveal the ethnicity and immigration status of men charged with raping little girls?
- Where is Jim McMahon MP, the government minister for local government, urgent visit to Nuneaton to meet with local leaders?

After reading this morning that The Chancellor is about to make more cutbacks...I'm not optimistic in the slightest that Hospitality will get any help in the up coming fiscal statement.
If I'm right, we will witness more Hospitality closures than any other time in our lifetime.
Rachel Reeves must act now to save pubs…but there’s little concern in Westminster.
My article in today’s Express, covering VAT, NI, Business Rates, plus how pubs can help loneliness.
https://t.co/uon7H7SyOv
The UK could lose up to 9000 pubs.
From April, pubs with a rateable value of £100,000, will see business rates jump by £19,000 per year.
They will need to sell an additional:
60,000 pints a year.
Thats 1200 pints a week.
Thats 170 extra pints a day.
Thats before rising energy bills, wages and other costs.
