Runway's Gen-3 AI video model has launched an image-to-video feature, enhancing its video generation capabilities by solving issues of character consistency and hyperrealism. By starting with an image, the model can produce more coherent and realistic videos, guided by motion or text prompts. This feature also integrates with Runway’s lip-sync capability, allowing for animated characters with accurate speech. Gen-3's improvements make it a powerful tool for creating consistent, high-quality short films, with further enhancements expected as it develops further.
