Proud Sewer Rat retired mobile librarian, we do it alphabetically, companion to ridiculous jack russell. Loathe poltroonery, charlatanry, hornswogglers.
I should have known. Pair of sandals, longingly waited for, to give at Xmas, have somehow, by the grace and good management of Au Post , wound up in Salisbury, South Australia. 900 klms away. Apparently, they are wending their slow way back, arriving next year.
@AnnetteSpendlo2@strangerous10 They really did enjoy it. They thought they would be in power for decades, they would never be found out, and if they were, they would merely deny it over and over. They thought they had the game sewn up, and they would be impervious to any criticism.
@strangerous10 The LNP didn't invent Robodebt, they copied from the Dutch, who used it in 2010. A sad story, eventually, after 10,000 families had been targeted , it was found to be illegal and the entire Dutch Govt. resigned, in shame. So Morrison knew the outcome.
@strangerous10 Somewhere there is a clip of Kathryn Campbell, in Senate Estimates, I think, denying any reports or validity of suicidal outcomes, adamantly denying. I can't find it, but it's there,....
Sydney you beautiful thing โค๏ธ Almost feel like a local now after 24 years. Well, that's my "Christmas Break" done. See u back on the box tomorrow morn straight through to 2023 and all it holds. ๐๐ค๐ผ๐ซ
Good news. 16 year old #SoniaSharifi - down to be executed as of yesterday - was released from Ilam prison today at 3pm after being detained for a month. Thank you to everyone for spreading her name and image. Say their names, save a life. #IranRevoIution
Who prints this? The Sun. So much for the Leveson Inquiry. The vile hatred being casually directed towards women in newspapers, there and here, needs to stop. Of course itโs clickbait, but thatโs now talking about parading women they disagree with naked & throwing excrement?
When asked about a reported suicide as a result of the LNPโs deadly #Robodebt scheme in 2020, Stuart Robert responded saying:
โItโs not something thatโs been aired in the public, & I wouldnโt want to continue doing that.โ
Yeh of course you wouldnโt. ๐
@Superboot55 This is you? Making others smile, bravely talking about feelings - it's a pretty good you I reckon. I truly hope today is better. Big hugs Craig. ๐๐
@ArcingOf That is far more of Birmingham than I need to see. What on earth would grown man pulling those on , look in the mirror and say?. It even has a touch of ankle distortion. In Palau! in Summer!
Note the framing here: the defence barrister asked how his father actions made Houston feel, allowing him to describe the emotional upset. I donโt care: this is a cheap trick to paint Houston in a sympathetic light. His actions spoke otherwise. ๐คฎ https://t.co/aMRHWIPoaa
I went back and read some of Morrison's interviews from 2015. He was the new social services minister. Much of it was cynical and shameful; but the royal commission is considering whether the "welfare cop" message went beyond talkback and was heard by the public service
Hey there @TimWilsonMP, remember you lost your job at the last election so why are you still claiming to be an elected member of the House? MP no longer! #auspol
