Long time listener and perpetual monthly donator here! Since the new redesign, on the website I’ve found there has been skipping in the audio stream. Most recently this morning with @HeatherBambric1. It doesn’t appear to happen during ad breaks.
If you ever feel bad about botching your indie game release, remember that you'll never be as bad as Ubisoft.
They literally forgot to upload the actual game.
what's annoying about the wnba trans athlete blow up is that no trans people are involved in it. no trans player is dominating the league, there's not a trans college player who might get drafted, no trans women demanded to play. all the trans women are purely hypothetical here
I LOVE this UI design where I accidentally press on the gift nitro button!!
Its so useful!!!
I ALWAYS gift nitros to friends thats such a normal thing to do everyday :DDDD
obviously it’s not perfect but wikipedia might genuinely be one of the top ten best ideas of my lifetime. a free, ad-less encyclopedia with millions of articles available in hundreds of languages that the majority of humans can access from anywhere. what a gift
This paper gives a fancy name to a problem you can already feel in your bones
"The Tragedy of the Cognitive Commons." Checking AI output requires deep expertise. Deep expertise comes from doing grunt work for years. And grunt work is the first thing AI eats
So we're building systems that need expert supervision while dismantling the only known process for making experts
The paper calls the shared pool of human expertise the "cognitive commons." Every profession drinks from it. Nobody's refilling it.
By eliminating junior roles, each company is acting totally rationally, and the collective result: a profession that can't catch AI's mistakes anymore because it never learned to do the work in the first place
Who checks AI's homework in 15 years?
