@FEMMY466 Nope, they are not they just realized that most of the work given to new doctors are work of porters ,relatives and don’t in anyway improve clinical knowledge!!plus if it’s you MDCN is owing for 3 months and nobody is saying anything would you be this active ?
This photo is beautiful, but it is also a small archive of what Nigeria has allowed to die.
Around that time in UNN:
-The naira was STRONGER than the dollar.
-Federal university tuition was either low, state-funded for many students, & later completely free.
-Subsidised campus feeding still existed by the govt.
-Maintenance scholarships were part of everyday federal university life.
- State scholarships & grants were still a real part of many students' education.
-Overseas study through federal scholarships, student loans, Commonwealth routes & access to foreign exchange was still part of the national imagination.
-Any serious student could move from a Nigerian university into the Oxford, Cambridge or American university pipeline without the entire family selling land & entering emergency prayer mode all thanks to the govt.
-UNN still carried the ambition of a country that thought public education should produce a serious, highly educated national elite.
Today, students in the same UNN are residing in dilapidated t̶o̶i̶l̶e̶t̶s̶ hostels & are doing SOS over other students' poo till it becomes a mountain.
@FEMMY466 I've noticed this too & it's not for the reason people think. It's very nefarious. Especially since America & the Christian genocide incident.
I’m so happy for Madueke. This is exactly why joining a big club matters. Now he’s starting a World Cup game for England, with commentators calling him the Champion of England, something he could only have dreamed of while at Chelsea❤️
Arsenal players in the World Cup
- Gyokeres 1 goal
- Havertz 2 goals
- Odegaard 1 assist
- Declan Rice 1 assist
- Bukayo Saka 1 assist
My boys are really running the show 😁😍
