@ClayTravis I ran an AYSO for 4 years. It’s too non competitive. Too much of this everyone plays, should be fun. It should be fun but not to the point it feels lame. Kids get bored and move on after 2/3 years. By the time you reach 12u, the numbers are a fraction of what they are for 6u.

@ClayTravis Club/travel teams are ruining sports. The delta between kids who play/can afford has grown so wide it turns kids away who want to play more then 1 sport and can’t just put all their energy in one. Also psycho parents who believe their kids are D1 athletes at 10 years old suck too

Specifically they challenged the use of slow motion instant replay to give the red card, which they argued violated FIFA rules. The president also conveyed to Gianni Infantino, FIFA’s president, that the appeal had been filed and he believed the red card penalty was excessive. FIFA’s independent committee reviewed the decision and agreed the penalty was incorrectly given, rescinding it under their rule 27 authority.
