Two drummers of the percussion department have the honour of playing under Pete Long with the RCM Jazz Orchestra. On Sunday, we will then be able to hear them again with Jojo Mayer on Drums. We can‘t wait to see him play. See you on Sunday at the Percussion Festival in RCM!

We had the great pleasure of meeting the Solo Timpanist of Concertgebouworkest Tomohiro Ando. It was an amazing class and we hope to welcome him soon again. Thanks a lot🥁

Yesterday, our percussion quartet, PERC‘M played with the RCM Symphonic Brass of @RCMLondon together at Wells Cathedral School. Well done everyone!🌞

Happy New Year! It feels good to be back and even better by starting off with a great masterclass with @StephenWhibley. Stephen plays in the BBC Concert orchestra. He showed us how it is to learn a lot of music in a short amount of time. It was a pleasure having you! Thank you!🌞

We had the best time with Anders Åstrand last week. It was so fun to work with him for our successful showcase on Friday night. Furthermore, he taught us about improvisation and we had a class about the amazing @ZildjianCompany cymbals. Thanks sou much for this experience!🍀🌞

Autmn Percussion Showcase rehearsals have started. We are delighted to perform works composed by Anders Astrand and working with him together on it. We will perform this friday at 6pm in the Concert Hall of @RCMLondon. We would be very happy to see a lot of lovely faces!🌞

A great Masterclass tonight with @mattwrwest @RCM. Matt is an amazing percussionist playing in the West End. He gave us an insight of the business and what to expect when playing in shows. He put so much work into this class and we all had the best time. Thanks so much!🌞

Today, the one and only @petererskine visited @RCMLondon and gave us a brilliant masterclass. It‘s very amazing to watch him playing and talking about his experiences and the love he shares for drums. It was a great pleasure to have you with us tonight. Thanks so much!🌞🥰

Thonight we had the great pleasure of welcoming @philbertpauken at @RCMLondon. Paul is the Princinpal Timpanist at the RSNO. He taught us a lot about the role of being a second timpanist. It was definitely a very interesting and useful class we all enjoyed. Thank you for coming🌞

Today, we had the pleasure of meeting @AdamBettsDrums . He showed us how much different sounds you can get out of a drumset with using electronics. It was amazing to see how passionate he is and broadened our knowledge of electronic music. It was a pleasure to have you! Thanks!🌞

We are back @RCMLondon and had the great pleasure to start the year with an amazing Masterclass with Rob Farrer. 🤩 He introduced us to instruments most of us never have played like the riqq and frame drum and did a wonderful job. Thanks so much!🌞🥰
