A restaurant in Wyoming says this family ate a $130 meal then left without paying.

The owner decided NOT to contact the police since they reportedly failed to arrest another group who stole from the restaurant in 2024.

The Casper Police Department is now criticizing the owner for publicly posting pictures of the thieves, saying it's "not the most appropriate tactic."

But school districts don’t want to do that because it gives them a black mark. They are more interested in numbers than kids’ welfare

@Unoknowme2100 @ArcaneAce @awkwardgoogle There is no way, in this day and age, I’d do anything but homeschool. A teacher spends only 20 min out of 45 actually teaching, due to behavioral issues, admin interruptions, taking roll, assemblies, paperwork. We need a Japanese style of schooling.

@strait_jack @awkwardgoogle I may not have been clear when trying to keep it ⬇️ the required characters 😊 my calcs were 1 missed assignment needs 9 70% scores to get a D overall, so they don’t want to punish 1 screw up. 9 missed assignments IS a choice. But 9x 50/9 is still an F.

@awkwardgoogle I’m not defending policy. Possible reason 4 it is both 0 & 50 are Fs. But a 0is harder 2 come back from, vs 50. If you were solid C student, that 0means you need 9 assignments at least of 70 to not fail the course. It may be to give them a shot to fix their mistake& not say F it
