Meet Mr. Mavias: He is a homeowner in Trophy Club, and after the record-breaking rains in October, one side of his yard would fill up with standing water. He reached out to us to see what we could do to improve his drainage. #ShiftHappens#FreeEvaluations

The power of rainwater! Checked the foundation at an apartment building in Lewisville over the weekend. Crazy amounts of rain & poor drainage can lead to soil erosion & shifting foundations- And it doesn't help that the building is on a slope.
We see it a lot: flower beds with too much mulch. It can trap rainwater against your foundation, contributing to shifting.
TIP: if you use metal edging in your flowerbed, you can drill holes close to the bottom to allow water to drain.
Rain, rain & more rain, it's gonna be another wet week! This email is a good reminder to pay attention to your yard when it rains. Does water pool up near the foundation? Then it's time for a free drainage & foundation check. Message me to get on the schedule!
