I needed my children’s birth certificates to enroll them in my insurance plan. I needed my marriage license and my wife’s birth certificate to enroll her. I needed my birth certificate and SS card to get REAL ID. These documents that you believe are too onerous to use are used for hundreds of other normal tasks. Calling citizenship verification “voter suppression” just shows who you are worried about.
