Our children were very excited to see our chicks again today. They are certainly growing fast and are getting their real feathers on their wings already 🐥

We went on a walk around our beautiful forest area this week. We practiced positional language, going under trees, over logs and through flowers 🌳🌷🌼🪻🌸

We've been meeting our chicks today 🐤 we have been learning that we need to be quiet and gentle as they are only babies 😃

Our chicks 🐥 have hatched today! We have 9 chicks and it’s been a very exciting day 😆

It was such a lovely afternoon we decided to take some stories outside to read in the shade of the tree 📚

The children are practising their mark making skills with chalk on the playground. Mark making opportunities are so important for developing the skills they will need for writing 😃

The children have been planting up their beans. They are hoping they grow as tall as the beanstalk in Jack and the Beanstalk! @GWmag @GWandShows

We have been making the most of the spring flowers we have grown and froze some in ice. The children released the flowers by melting the ice with their warm hands and we talked about the beautiful colours.

Our hamster Joanne was helping to set up the toys this morning!

Our staff spent Saturday morning setting up our mud kitchen ready for our children to use this term. Not quite finished yet due to the rain 🌧️ but we’re hoping for some dry weather to finish the job!

We had great fun celebrating #Coronation today at pre-school. We wore our crowns 👑 and had a yummy tea party 🎉

We’ve been busy making paper chains for our coronation celebrations on Friday 👑 #Coronation

We've been getting ready for our coronation celebrations. The children have made their own crowns which they are going to wear at our coronation tea party on Friday. The Story Fairy has sent us Zog to read together this week so we've been talking about dragons and princesses too
