Statement from Senator Pauline Hanson, One Nation Leader:

I am horrified and saddened that Helen Haines has been seriously injured in an attack outside her electorate office in Wangaratta today.

My thoughts are with Helen, her family and her staff. I wish her a full and speedy recovery, and I know Australians everywhere are wishing the same.

Police are investigating, and we should let them do their work.

Violence against any elected representative, whoever they are and whatever they stand for, is never acceptable in Australia. Members of parliament and their staff must be able to serve their communities without fearing for their safety.

I thank the emergency services and the members of the public who rushed to help.

Oh yes they're the great pretenders...

Macron, Johnson, Albanese, Morrison, Biden, Starmer, Clinton, Turnbull, Cameron, Rudd, Gillard, Trudeau, Merkel, Ardern, Burnham, Bush, Obama, May, Sunak and the list goes on and on

There is nothing worse for democracy than a pretender, and the West has been riddled with them for decades now.

They pretend to be patriots, they pretend to be standing up for their party and it’s values, they pretend to represent their constituents.

But the sad reality is that on both sides of politics accross the Western world we have had a bunch of liars in power.

They get away with it - because their opposition are made up of the same exact thing.

You'd have to be pretty simple to believe that diversity - a bunch of different things forced together - could ever be a strength. Division, and diversity come from the same latin root, the politicians and the people behind them know this.

It is impossible to have social cohesion when diversity is the stated purpose and goal.

The real question is why? Why do they lie? Why do they pretend to stand up for the founding principles of their parties and nations but just don’t, and never will?

Because if they told the truth, they would never win an election.

Watching Macron attempt to mop up the mess he has made of his country is laughable.

Now he is tough on crime. But those crimes are by design. I think it is always the few bad actors among the good that cause the trouble. But the problem is, now, everyone wears the consequences.

A more heavy handed state, less free speech, and lower living standards.

We are being pushed to third world conditions and that is not an accident. It is totally by design.

Because they are not that stupid (well some of them are), and the people behind them in the establishment are doing all of this on purpose.

The West and its middle-class is all that stands between the global criminal network, and total world domination, and so they send us liars, cheats and fools, and tell us it is our own fault because we chose them. Hope we don’t see through the lies. The absolute web of falsehood. It permeates out from the centre like a spider and its eight legs.

But now that the mask has slipped in Paris it is just a matter of time before we all wake up and put the politics of diversity in the bin of history.

A nasty plan, with a sting in the tail, sold as care.

It is cruel to everyone but the establishment, there are no other winners.

We need people of substance to stand up now, because it is almost too late.

A recently arrived immigrant from Afghanistan has been charged after police found Islamic State beheading videos on his phone.

Mohammad Emad Uddin Ahmadzai, 31, was arrested at Melbourne Airport while trying to fly to Afghanistan.

AFP charged him with possessing violent extremist material and refusing to give police access to his devices.

A May raid on the home he shared with his brother seized phones and a tablet.

Forensic analysis later allegedly found graphic videos of beheadings, throat cuttings, a hostage shot in the head at close range, images of mass casualties, dead children and ISIS flags and logos.

He is the sixth Afghan man charged in Melbourne from the same group chat.

Magistrate Samantha Seoud denied bail, calling the alleged offending serious and the prosecution case “not weak”
