@jonc101x@emollick Thanks for clarifying, I wondered about this exactly. Results vary in quality a lot (in my experience) based on the input + prompting. Also ability to upload images will be incredibly helpful once that feature comes to the secure LLMs (ours, Versa, does not yet)
@emollick Unless I'm mistaken they also don't detail how the LLM was used, how much it was used, for those who had access. In my experience ChatGPT is very good at generating differential diagnoses but often doesn't prioritize it well, and it really depends on how you interact w/ it
A beautiful piece written by Dr. @JRandallCurtis1's family about his last days and medical aid in dying.
He is so missed at @uwpccm and in the #PCCM community ❤️

@journalist_guy@DKThomp Agreed, though many of those (i.e. gun violence, tobacco use) is more directly related to our work as MDs and public health officials. This is a lot thornier and further from our day-to-day jobs.
Disappointed in the SCOTUS decision to bar consideration of race in college admissions. Student diversity remains a top priority for @uofcalifornia. We will continue to create pathways to college and address inequality using every tool available to us. https://t.co/2PvY3Q1WFy
@drjenniferbest@JRandallCurtis1@UWMedicine Everything ended up OK :). But yeah that's why Cards A isn't like that anymore lol. I just remember thinking "do I CALL your pager number? Then what?"
