@Pencils_Stories Its been a looong time since I watched/read anything Tarzan so it all blends together, but the rubbing dust thing was from the disney one? Have to rewatch it then, maybe there's more similarities than I thought!
@Pencils_Stories It is similar in the way that there's a kid raised by monkeys/apes, but you might as well draw that line with the Jungle Book, too. Tarzan as a character also has a legacy of comics and live action movies, so wouldnt give Disney too much credit!
@richiedewit Love the First Law books! The original trilogy is a neat three books that mixes up a bit of Game of Thrones with LotR, think 'what if Gandalf was an absolute bastard and was a bit too much into politics'. They're fairly straightforward and filled with excellent dark humour
@amyis_trying I was walking behind a haycart pulled by a tractor. My brother was on top of the cart, jumping on the haybales. One of the chains broke, nearly decapitating me. I was buried under the haybales and the crew of farmers had to dig me out. Bruised ribs, and a fear for haystacks
@Count_Roxy_Dusk Loved Armed & Dangerous! Monty Python esque cutscenes, and fun weapon design like the shark gun before the gadgetry of Ratchet and Clank
@jrome58 32, I woke up last night asking myself 'how the heck do adults trust me with a job and a mortgage', until I realized I'm the adult. I'm just terrible at it.
@TallShepherd Merry Christmas! Introduced my family to other boardgames than Monopoly, and so far they've been blown away that boardgames dont need to be 90% luck. Good times
@Orbitaldropkick I love the loose linework! Crispy lines are nice and all, but being able to communicate what is happening on a page while still keeping it loose? God tier work
@nicodelort Even when I play Hades I have no idea what is going on half of the time, I just let my muscle memory do its job. Guess the same synapses are firing when playing music or drawing, no idea how I survive some of the stuff the game throws at me
@Orbitaldropkick I misread it as pal bearer, and was trying to visualise how a knight designated to carry friends would look like. I'm sure they're good at it tho
@graylish Yes. Teenage me would never picked up skating, yoga, and a chair that costs as much as a highend pc. Its allll worth it for that satisying crack, my spine's way of telling me I did good.
@MinimumPlayerCt @ElfCreekGames Guess I have to leave out the bowl with gummy candies when playing this. At some point someone is gonna be distracted and chew on a precious resource token! This looks excellent
Havent played Pokemon in something like 8 years, but I recently picked up skating and my Discord art group was blasting the funky battle themes, soooo....
