Once you build a massive “deportation” machine, an industry really, it will not stop with one category of immigrants, or immigrants at all. It will self-perpetuate new classes of people to detain, to fill detention beds and meet removal quotas. It will create a meal to feast on.
@wildguitar_@caitoz Read up on history - not the version they taught you in school - but the one that is based on facts. Japan was Iran in that situation. The bombing was out of desperation and the US government knew about it and let it happen.
@nikstankovic_@MickssTape Kinda the same same story with Meta Ai in Europe. FB decided not to comply with the EU regulations and did not roll out Meta Ai in Europe at least not to the extent as they did it in the US. No sane people would say Europe banned Meta Ai.
@jasonhickel So Panama used to be a part of Colombia :O. How come there is no road connecting the two countries today??? I was shocked to see that you could not drive from one to the other today... at least according to Google maps.
