For some reason there has been a rush on my book Bleeding for Jesus, and Amazon is temporarily out of stock. That should be put right in 24 hours. In the meantime you can get it direct from the publisher at https://t.co/e73I16BbhR.
You can find the full story behind the Channel 4 documentaries See No Evil in the revised and updated edition of my book Bleeding for Jesus. https://t.co/IG2elW9O0J
Thank you @RTS_media for this incredible honour; thank you to my producer @clairesinka and to the fabulous @AndrewGraystone for coming to me with the Church abuse story; but thank you above all to the victims of John Smyth’s barbaric abuse, whose suffering was covered up by the Church for almost four decades. I dedicate this award to them.
@NewhamLondon , no not a car park, but a pavement area. The guy in the front car is saying he doesn't care because the car is not in his name, but he knows he is in the wrong. So @NewhamLondon what about making this little triangle space into a place to sit, chat with friends?
“On rare visits to parliament..Farage & Reform are voting against
• the employment rights bill
• scrapping zero-hours contracts
• sick leave & maternity pay
And they want to charge for using the NHS
They are not the answer for working people in Britain”

In the last 24 hours I have received three further disclosures from church leaders who have been abused by clergy.
Is it any wonder that the Church of England doesn’t want its safeguarding to be independently managed?
@LynneCullens Would probably have worked for me, having decided not to pursue when I realised the middle class dominance. However, it is also high time that the lay are also taken very seriously, they work, live and engage in places the churches and ministers have very little access.
We welcome Yvette Cooper's announcement in Parliament today:
"We will make it mandatory to report abuse [...] making it an offence, with professional and criminal sanctions, to fail to report or cover up child sexual abuse."
Elon Musk - a multi-billionaire with an expansionist right-wing agenda, and no legitimate interest in our country - should be condemned in the strongest possible terms, by both State and Church, for his consistent attempts to destabilise our democracy.
Israel has destroyed the last remaining hospital in northern Gaza.
We have witnessed the total decimation of Palestinian healthcare, met with silence from political leaders who refuse to acknowledge the horrors they have enabled.
This is the dehumanising reality of genocide.
The Church of England has suspended four junior clergy while they investigate whether they should have done more about their knowledge of abuser John Smyth.
None of the ten bishops who knew has been suspended. Not. One.
The Church of England’s review into serial abuser John Smyth QC is 1600 days late today.
Who cares? Nobody in the national church, apparently. https://t.co/7eVM0r1qMp
Canon Andrew Hindley was subject of scores of verifiable complaints over 30 years - but he did nothing wrong.
Church leaders from the Archbishop down failed to stop him - but of course they did nothing wrong.
So I guess it must be the victims to blame. https://t.co/CqfRlmY7H6
At Kingston Crown Court today, Rev Jonathan Fletcher pleaded not guilty to eight counts of indecent assault on a male. A further charge of GBH remains to be considered.
If you have information that might be relevant please contact the police asap, or DM me for further details.
Six years ago today John Smyth, the most prolific abuser in the modern church, died. His abuse had been known in the church for 36 years.
The following day, the CofE announced it would review its role in enabling Smyth. Six years later there is no sign of its publication.
I don’t know Margaret but she just stopped me in the street and said “I’ve seen what’s going on and it’s not right. You should feel safe in this country and I want you to know I’m not racist.” You might think how can I possibly make a difference? She did in her own little way.
