It depends on repair cost and collector value if you want to keep it running. When a battery goes bad, it's dead, there is no fix.

@giveashitnature Why aren't we building nuclear reactors which are cleaner, not made in China, and provide energy 24 hours per day? Solar requires massive battery storage because it doesn't provide power at night. Batteries require lithium and other metals which require mining that pollutes.
