A formidable and principled politician, she was never afraid to speak her mind and stood firmly by her beliefs.
My thoughts are with the family, friends and loved ones of Ann Widdecombe.
The Marches Line is often susceptible to disruption.
I am pleased the Minister has acknowledged this, and is looking at improving its resilience.
Passengers however, want more than warm words, they want action.

I welcome the First Minister’s recognition of this work and commitment to a national food strategy. Words matter, but actions matter more.
I’ll be watching progress closely.

⌛️Waiting lists ballooning
🏥> 11 000 people waiting over 12 hours in A&E

Plaid Cymru must tackle this and deliver the improvements we need.

1.4% is not enough, we cannot afford to wait.
The Grange Hospital serves a fifth of the Welsh population.
Nearly 1200 people were waiting over 12 hours to be seen in May.
We must look to re-open A&E units, such as the Royal Gwent to ease pressure.

Plaid Cyrmu's aims for health are laudable, but there are questions to be answered and big decisions to be made as to how they will be funded.
At the moment, it's just a list of ideas.
We risk a repeat of the same damaging cycle Welsh patients have endured for 27 years.
