Ukrainian FPV interceptors can now independently shoot down Shahed drones, Ukraine’s Minister of Defense Mykhailo Fedorov said.
The new AI-based technology automates 95% of the interception process — from launch to target destruction. The operator only needs to select a target on the radar and authorize the strike. After that, the system independently guides the interceptor and destroys the UAV.
The technology has already successfully passed combat testing in Kharkiv region.
