Breaking: At a mediation meeting today between Makerere University @Makerer and Pr Martin Ssempa it was communicated that the University council had agreed to one of the request of Pr Ssempa to set aside land for the purpose of the inter denominational born again community worship and student center. The land will be handed over in April. This is because the land is to be identified by management and communicated back to the University council for approval in their next meeting which is scheduled for late March. On the issue of a chaplaincy, and house for the chaplain the management is still consulting. The approval of land for the Born Again Faith is a major step forward in the achievement equality and enjoyment of freedom of worship by the non denominational and non traditional minority religious groups.
We can't wait for April 2024 when our Makerere Community Church will open it's doors once again to serve the students and community of Makerere University.
Today's meeting was attended my the Deputy Vice Chancellor Prof Arinaitwe, The Deputy University Secretary, Director of Estates, Security other university administrators. Dr Hellen Nkabala and other members of the mediation committee led the inter party mediation efforts.
Pr Martin Ssempa was accompanied by his wife Pr Tracey Ssempa, and Bishop Mark Wamala the Secretary General of Alliance of Pentecostals and Evangelicals APE and Rita Kwagala the Pr Ssempas Administrative Assistant.
While equality has not fully been achieved, this serves as a historical milestone in the struggle of Born Agains in Uganda to achieve equal opportunity in public universities.
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: (Philippians 2:8-9 KJV)
THE PATTERN OF GREATNESS
In the Kingdom of God, greatness begins from the lowest places. Jesus told His disciples in Matthew 23:11 that the greatest of them had to be the servant of all.
The Lord set this same pattern for us as explained in our theme scripture. The Bible says He humbled Himself and God gave Him a name above every name.
Unfortunately, we live in a generation where many people have gotten the order wrong. They exalt themselves in an attempt to make a name for themselves.
But Christ did not exalt Himself in order to get a name. The name came because He humbled Himself.
The lamb on the throne is the typification of humility that has been exalted.
He is the God who exalts the humble. True humility will always raise you to unimaginable heights.

PRAYER: Loving Father, I thank You for this truth. Thank You for teaching me the patterns of greatness daily. I break and bend before You and yield to Your Spirit. In this understanding, I choose to be a servant of men, to give of my hands, feet, mind, time and abilities, to the glory of Your name and the expansion of Your kingdom, Amen.
This should be read before the Monday Cabinet meeting, @Parliament_ug and @BugandaOfficial . Infact every one should read and apply this.
I love the last verse . Psalm 101.
1. I will sing of your love and justice;
to you, Lord, I will sing praise.
2 I will be careful to lead a blameless life—
when will you come to me?
I will conduct the affairs of my house
with a blameless heart.
3 I will not look with approval
on anything that is vile.
I hate what faithless people do;
I will have no part in it.
4 The perverse of heart shall be far from me;
I will have nothing to do with what is evil.
5 Whoever slanders their neighbor in secret,
I will put to silence;
whoever has haughty eyes and a proud heart,
I will not tolerate.
6 My eyes will be on the faithful in the land,
that they may dwell with me;
the one whose walk is blameless
will minister to me.
7 No one who practices deceit
will dwell in my house;
no one who speaks falsely
will stand in my presence.
8 Every morning I will put to silence
all the wicked in the land;
I will cut off every evildoer
from the city of the Lord.
