Wife purchased item from @curryspcworlduk ebay site. Product faulty. Currys refuse to discuss matter because invoice number did not start with "eby" despite all documentation in order. Anyone else had this issue with this most difficult of companies?

The top-rated 2yos won each of the three @JuddmonteFarms sponsored Group races on #JuddmonteDay at #Newmarket yesterday. Top quality racing won by top quality horses.

So nice for a racecard not to have seven hcaps and just one interesting race.

Very lucky with the ratings yesterday: the top rated 2yos won all four races at Doncaster.

Dancing Gemini produced the best figure on the day.

Some excellent 2yo performances in Ireland on Sunday. All three winners recorded figures over 100 giving us a total of four runners with 100+ ratings. Henry L remains top of the list. #horseracing

Started watching SA v NZ the other week, on-pitch advertising was so intrusive I switched channels. Does not bode well for #RWC2023. Hopefully common sense will prevail amongst the programme makers at @RugbyWorldCupFR .

Just finished "The Prime Ministers" ed. @IainDale. Really interesting, had no idea that Tony Benn was a Viscount nor that Ted Heath's father was a carpenter - I would have guessed the other way round. 55 diff. writers inevitably means the quality of the essays varies greatly

Scottish beaches have eight times more sewage-related debris than those in England or Wales, according to new data from the Marine Conservation Society.
The Society is calling on Scottish Water, a nationalised utility, to monitor all combined sewer overflows (CSOs). Currently, just 3.4 per cent of CSOs in Scotland are monitored and reported, compared with 91 per cent in England, where water is owned by regulated private utilities.
