@CollinsBriche One of the things that "ate" kikuyus in the last regime is silence when oppressed, to avoid giving "their" government a bad name. Ruto was hoping the same will happen to the kalenjins but they seem to be drawing a line that they wont be oppressed in silence.
@TonyMurega Try this argument with office holders and you will hear that its budgeted, that money cant be used otherwise, we shall risk taking it back to treasury, our budget absorption will be low- which means the system is designed to support the pilferage.
@wmnjoya@CBKKenya Their mode operadus is be quiet and let it flow. If it works, we shall be congratulated by the west as being the springing ground of innovation. If it does not, come out guns blazing. In any event, why waste time on matters that don't touch on the middle and upper classes?
@daughterofsahel Their argument, and @SingoeiAKorir can attest is preservation of their tribesman who gratefully puts them in positions of power using constitutional all9wances to appoint.
@WilliamsRuto Hope you know that this is PR exercise. Go to many towns and you will see white elephant markets, build without the traders involvement, remain empty as traders go back to road sides. Proper markets should be informed by a stakeholder consultative process, not just budgets.
@SingoeiAKorir@africa_amani More troubleling is constitutional coups by elected leaders and suppressing all avenues of none violent protests like we saw in Kenya. Repression breeds resentment and illegitimacy. Which give soft landing for millitary coups.
@DCI_Kenya Looking at Amin, how innocent he looks etc, one would not belief that he heads an institution that has officers who plant illegal drugs on the innocent in support of political fighting. If he does not suction such, what action has he taken against them? Power is transient.
@wnyakera Sad that your achievement everywhere you go is age at appointment. PS is a senior post. Expected to solve problems. If you deserved that post, you'd be talking about how that youthful energy helped Kenya. Sio kila siku i was the youngest. You were also youngest to be dismissed?
@lincentochieng@AnuarSaddat@KindikiKithure He tried from the start, walked away briefly then came back to stop them. I would wish to know him. Seems like the only human in that group.
@CiukuEric@oduor1@ledamalekina@CNN@WilliamsRuto In a lawful society, you arrest and prosecute. Better still, you mobilise social workers and psychologists to work around the problem. In your view, is smelling weed 3km worse than MPs who shoot pple dead, governors who steal hospital money? Etc?
@nathanrobe@InsecurityKE My barber is from Rwanda. Apart from kigali, which other town do you know in Rwanda? Who is the vice president? What product of Rwanda have you ever seen on our supermarkets?
@nathanrobe@InsecurityKE But Kenyans! Optics and PR are so easy to sell. If Rwanda is such a paradise, how come their youth have relocated to Kenya enmass to be barbers, hawkers, bar waiters? Talk to those that have stayed there more than a month to get real perspective.
@mwandokamau @TonyMurega And with that in mind and need to "look" big in Africa and send mixed signals of his leanings on geo political arena, someone will very soon come in and fuel the discontent. Hearing about 20 counties taking part- almost certain some big brothers is already meddling.
