Labor’s law firm Slater and Gordon has already conveniently lodged an application for Native Title over all of Melbourne and beyond. 📑 Based on what we see of the courts, we have to assume Native Title will be granted. ⚖️

We’re told Native Title will not effect private property rights, so here’s how Labor will get around that pesky inconvenience: any land under Native Title cannot be sold on the open market 🚫, BUT it can be surrendered ONLY to the government, done in exchange for compensation. 💵

Once the government owns the land that was under Native Title via the purchase from aboriginals party to the Treaty with Victorian taxpayer funds 💸 (meaning more international borrowings from we don't know who 🕵️‍♂️), and upon which your Melbourne property sits, who owns your property now❓ What is it worth now the government effectively owns the land 📉, is your land now security for the debt which the government used to purchase the Native Title land 💳, what is the change to your title rights 📜, will the government legislate requirements you will need to pay yourself to comply with their new rules 📑, and what will the government require from you to stay there, if indeed you are allowed to STAY? 🛑
