Very pleased to be at this event. Cybercrime cripples a lot of human potential by scaring them from the internet. It should be massively prevented. My experience of writing about this from its start is that some of the worst culprits are nations states.
@SouthEastCRC Very pleased to attend. After 30 years of covering the topic, it is rapidly becoming centre stage and moving to forefront of geo-politics. Over 2020 Future Intelligence and Cyber Security Research have been approached by several think-tanks for joint events, much to talk about.
“There’s a danger of scaring people simply because we’re not taking it seriously enough… unfortunately alarmist language works”

He has regularly gone into hiding. If you recall it is a frequent ploy. He did it after the Brexit vote and during the bid for the Tory leadership when his mate Michael Gove knifed him up.
#WhereIsBorisJohnson I thought everyone knew that he is an acting Prime Minister. The warm up show for the real deal. While everyone is waiting, send in the clown.
@ipswichbuses@SimondsLocalBus@suffolkcc Campaign for a joined up bus service. All contractors offer a unified service make country buses an attractive option to cars for climate change.
@ipswichbuses@SimondsLocalBus use buses to cut down on climate change. Not these two. They are competitors so refuse to accept each others tickets on their routes. If @suffolkcc wants to run a public service and encourage people to use buses it should offer a decent service.
There is no such thing as ‘European Union money’!
In 2018 we sent £13 billion to the EU, but got just £4 billion back.
When you see a 🇪🇺 on new buildings, remember: this is British taxpayer cash top-sliced and recycled back to us with strings attached.

Charles Arthur former Technology Editor of the Guardian sent this. https://t.co/XLbkGZMOJE just shows the abyssal lengths some go to obtain power. Broadly know they are wrong. So must muddy the field somehow.
It's your language that's the issue. She may be a traitor to your cause but to others she's a person of principle. If someone called you something you did not agree with you would take offence.
@MAnneAmbrose1 How would you like them paid Margaret? If this were true prior to the EU they would have been paid by the UK Government. Would that have invalidated the court judging UK Government decisions referred to it? If police are state employees does that mean they won't arrest ministers?
@Independent @BBCNaga not often down with the right ons but do think this was over the top. I assume the judgement was for personalising rather than reporting.
And just think, there you are a start-up going to IPO selling your IP and you know you have been hacked. Is that fraud? If your IP has gone you have nothing to sell.
My online #researchstudy was recently infiltrated by bots. I haven't shared this story publicly because I felt a bit like it was my fault. I'm putting my pride aside because I think #dataintegrity is and will be a growing issue in survey data and is not discussed enough (1/n)
