@d33_jordy@77magalicious@RalphyHeraldSun Watch the De goey one again, the man on the mark moves too! De goey probably deviates from a straight line, to where the man on mark started, more than Watson.
@Secko_IFS@carltonmitch101@TroyHallam You are probably stumbling on part of the answer with this comment! If someone doesn't currently have a R/F, reidy could still prove useful for swinging through flex and loops etc. May as well get one that also has a chance of making bulk $$ with some luck
@EmlynBreese My interpretation was he was suggesting that perhaps the stress/anxiety over the skill error was enough to trigger/exaggerate the concussion symptoms.
@sirswampthing@AFL Collingwood to smash tigers and tie round 2, 2012? GWS and GC start-ups helped that era. Also a 3 goal comeback for cats courtesy of the Kennett curse!
@Mammes It was the wrong decision, but even when the clock is stopped, by delaying the restart you are giving your team the chance to man up. Still a bullshit decision, however it's why the rule is there.
@clintonangove@Mugzyo@DaveNatoli86 If an umpire didn't call play on, then it should it have been a 50m penalty?...cause they ran at him before he started to 'play on'! Agree right decision was made (Neutral supporter here)
@USMortality@EthicalSkeptic you don't think that, maybe, a higher % of cancer patients died during the pandemic, than normal... due to catching COVID, delayed diagnosis/treatment etc? That seems a logical conclusion.
@LaptopGraham my point is, that taken in isolation, this graph supports the opposite to what Ian was trying to say! So it's a dumb graph, but then that's why I follow him π.
@CheshireSkitz you missed my point! The winter flu wave was ending anyway, so it says zero about mask effectiveness. It was another failed graph. The only thing that could be taken from it was that a 20/21 flu wave didn't even occur after interventions started (including masking)
@chris_a_meldrum I had a look, US have 6.5x the population of South Korea, but during the pandemic have 15x the cases and 100x the deaths. Why is that?
@Peteweatherman @chris_a_meldrum Although I believe there have been some studies that show masking could lead to less severe covid, due to limiting the initial amount of the virus inhaled, etc...so perhaps you raise another potential supporting point for masking ;-)
@chris_a_meldrum Nope, the point is the number of covid cases/deaths in Aus during the pandemic is significantly reduced compared to US, and masking and vaccine uptake are likely 2 of the reasons. BTW, mask mandates have now been dropped across most of Australia in most settings.
