As a Midlander I wouldn’t expect outsiders to understand how meaningful it is to have Diamondback buy Endeavor.

Financials, $/acre, or $ per flowing BOE aside, to have a management team that has fought to make Midland better (schools, parks, etc) is a huge win for the community.

It will take a few years for the deal to play out as a success or not. I wouldn’t bet against @KVanthof @Petr0Tiger and team.

Midland is a special place with special people. It will remain the center of the energy sector for decades to come.

My dad graduated from the same school building 32 years before that.
