Update on PAL events – May 2021, June 2021, July 2021

Dear all,

As you may expect, PAL meet-ups will continue to be suspended for the next three months due to the pandemic.

We have decided to continue to suspend the planned PAL meet-ups in November 2020, December 2020 and January 2021.

We have decided to continue to suspend the planned PAL meet-ups in August, September and October 2020.

We have noted the recent rise in cases in Hackney and Islington. The health and safety of our guests, dog owners and volunteers has to come first, and we have made the decision on that basis.

This weekend we took the decision to extend our pause and cancel the PAL events planned for June, July and August.

As was the case with our previous decision regarding April and May, our main aim is to protect our guests, dog owners and volunteers in the context of Covid-19.

Today we have taken the decision to cancel the planned PAL events in April and May.

We have taken this decision based on the information we have about the situation, and with the aim of protecting our guests, dog owners and volunteers.

There are now five cases of Covid-19 in Hackney, up from four two days ago.

We will review for the June PAL event as the situation progresses.
