The Stanley Cup contending Tampa Bay Lightning currently have two firsts in what’s being regarded as the best, deepest draft of all time and Jim Benning May very well have himself 0. Something is very wrong here. #FireBenning
One of my least favourite anti-Benning accounts.
We all know Benning can’t accomplish a winner here but Taj gets that across in the most boring, predictable and awful ways.
Well would you look at that, of course this management group signs Myers. It’s not that it’s an overpayment because it isn’t REALLY, it’s just that they went after him in the first place. If you can’t see how that illustrates their incompetence, you can’t be helped.
And for those that say I’m BSing that last point: watch the 2018 draft BTS video. Didn’t even know what school Tyler Madden went to right before the pick.
Can we please #FireBenning. The guy is about to sign Myers to a long term deal that will ruin this team’s chance to compete. Hasn’t even started a true rebuild yet. Traded away a first and a third (he overpaid). He drafts fine, but that’s Brackett and Gradin.
Hoglander and Podkolzin aren’t even close to the NHL and aren’t sure things at all. J.T. Miller is a solid forward but for a 1st rounder?? Absolutely not, what a terrible move for a team in a “rebuild” #FireBenning
I have all day for this Meyers debate, Arguments to be made for both sides. Ill just say this, I miss the good ol days where fans would just be excited and optimistic when aquiring a new player that will improve your team. That used to be the bottom line and all that mattered
@ChrisKeehn96 So let’s get this straight, Jim Benning drafts Vasili Podkolzin over Cole Caufield, Peyton Krebs and Alex Newhook and then trades away a first rounder as a rebuilding team. I am not liking this at all. Podkolzin will bust, and that first was valuable. #FireBenning train
