The 6’4”, 175-pound Strake Jesuit standout embraced the challenge of guarding the opposing team’s best player every game and consistently delivered. I watched him firsthand, and his lockdown defense, physicality, and relentless effort stood out throughout the weekend. George used his size, length, and high motor to force tough shots, disrupt passing lanes, and make every possession difficult. While his defensive presence was the biggest takeaway, he also contributed offensively by knocking down shots, rebounding, and making smart plays within the flow of the game. His performance at 3SSB proved he can impact winning without needing the ball in his hands, making him a valuable two-way guard that college coaches should continue to monitor.
