Thats kind of the beauty/curse of only having Nintendo consoles. You often don't get immediate access to new 3rd party games. So when it does eventually release, it'll still feel like a brand new game to you since you've never had the opportunity to play it until now.

One thing I felt from the Direct is it seems like it’d be way more substantial if you ONLY play on Nintendo

Like Stellar Blade, Metaphor, DMC5, those are big, great games. But unless you’re Switch 2 only, you likely own or have played them already so its kinda just “aight cool”

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will be approximately 27.8 GB on Switch 2.

Square Enix porting this to Switch 2 isn't surprising, but announcing it a few hours before a Nintendo Direct is.
