Each student created two mixed media cards, one to keep and one to leave as their legacy. Each one is unique and really expresses their personality! Proud of our artists! @OceeElem @OCEEPrincipal @oef_otter @ArtsFCS

[Adrianna Hopen @PGMSartists]

@ColtsArt @UnivWestGa Congratulations Gina! We will miss you!

[Adrianna Hopen @PGMSartists]

I had to add a few more, but that is what we were going for! Creating a work of Art that expresses Ocee's positive and welcoming vibes and it's a perfect way to celebrate Youth Art Month. Art unites us and adds color and joy to our halls! @ArtsFCS @GaDOE_FineArts @OCEEPrincipal

[Kerri-Ann Williams @OCEEPrincipal]

Each year our 🦦 work to create a collaborative art piece that adorns the main hall for the following school year. @OceeArtists has just hung next year’s collaborative piece and my ❤️ is full. Like our school, it is filled with beauty, joy, hope, and LOVE!

An arts education is essential to the whole of education. Art heals. Art inspires. Art engages. It shapes our thinking, and it moves us to action.

Raising the bar in education must include the arts.
