Our story begins in a place familiar to many: A supermarket.
With a head-cold beginning to work on me as I trudged around Tesco one Saturday, I thought I'd seek out an alternative means of easing that pre-cold, stuffed-up and congested feeling in the old sinuses.
Why, oh why?
@suecresswell01 This is a rigged poll and completely inconsistent with other polling. Huge numbers wanted a closer relationship with the EU but were included under 'stay out'.
Brexiters are allergic to honesty.
That is (ending reciprocal FoM) harder borders for ya! Each side, internally of the borders, become more external to the other.
Thing is, the EU internal area is much greater than the UK internal area. EU citizens & businesses have much greater choice than do their, much more choice restricted, UK equivalents, in their internal (rain soaked, market) area, behind their Gammon Curtain. Restore mutual, reciprocal FoM or get used to poorer, more restricted, expensive to us all, choices. Simples.
"South East Water hunts for £100m to plug its finances."
Why in God's name would anyone want to lend South East Water £100 million?
Put it this way, once we've nationalised Thames Water guess who's next on the list?

@GoodwinMJ Where, exactly, are you going to deport these people to?
The now cancelled Rwanda scheme for UK deportations was expensive and, ultimately, a dismal failure, summary above.

@TheWoof_Grrr@JungleAlex13227 Nobody said it was the Chancellor, just a "Minister of the Treasury", which @SpenceLivermore certainly is, currently.
No need to be rude about it.

UK Treasury minister says it is inevitable for them to rejoin the EU! 🇪🇺
Keir Starmer will hold an EU-UK reset summit next month, we propose that the UK rejoin the EFTA quite quickly, and then after rejoin the EU. Drop a follow to support
@TheWoof_Grrr@JungleAlex13227 In everyday political discussion, when people refer to "the Treasury minister," they are often referring either to the Chancellor, or
whichever Treasury minister is handling a particular policy area in Parliament.

@StuartBudd1@JohnRConstable@vivamjm That Statista chart made the mistake of putting the UK out at the edge, despite NI having an arrangement for goods that should have NI nearer to the center of the diagram, with GB on the periphery. John's diagram corrects that oversight. A better on based on Statista here.
WOW! Seems such a long time since we had our last #giveaway 🍻
WHO WANTS TO #WIN A CASE of #ALKOHOLFREI? 🍻
We will pick 2 winners at around 5pm(ish) today #Freiday, so get reposting!!! #competition
GOOD LUCK!!!
The truth being more likely you do not want your followers seeing John's rather excellent visual representation of UK's folly in choosing a "Belarussian Brexit"
(no single market/no FoM/no customs union & divergent, rather than convergent, access towards & into the EU family of, rule of law respecting, nations)
