@JPFinlayNBCS The more they have to wait the less his contract will be. I was thinking 1yr/$12m at the start of the off-season before I realized the 49ers would hold on to him. Now he's probably in the 1yr/$8m territory. Either way it'll be a low risk proposition for the team.
