They also need to check wholemeal and even gluten free products which also contain folic acid.

Last year, a video went viral of a scared, 12 year old girl in Dundee.
She was waving weapons, shouting at a migrant to leave her alone.
Almost immediately, many on the left were calling this girl a liar (and worse). They were saying the “far-right” were whipping up ‘anti-migrant hate’.
People like @HumzaYousaf & many more called it ‘bullsh*t’.
Many, including people like @jdpoc while calling her a liar & talking about her ‘hatred’, showed pictures of the little girl. Just to make sure everyone knew who the ‘liar’ they were talking about, was.
A fundraiser for the girl was mocked, suggesting she’d use the money to buy “machetes and IronBru”
She was a child. Their posts were seen by hundreds of thousands of people.
She wasn’t ‘hate-filled’, she was scared.
Yesterday, her version of events was proven to be true. She was sexually harassed by a migrant and another child physically assaulted too.
The man and his sister were prosecuted.
How shameful that children need to arm themselves for protection.
How shameful that adults will deny their reality.
How shameful that some people are so desperate to defend migration into this country, that they will literally mock children who are victims of their crimes.
Shame on you all.
I’ll be fascinated to see how many of you publicly apologise to the girl, in the same public way that you called her a liar.
I won’t hold my breath…
I hope this girl is ok.

This is not the first time.
2023: UK passes the Online Safety Bill. Signal threatens to leave. Meta threatens to pull WhatsApp. the government backs down.
2026: same government, new prime minister, same bill, different name. Keir Starmer gives Apple and Google 3 months to scan every device in the country or face criminal charges against their executives.
Signal's president Meredith Whittaker, on the BBC, yesterday:
"we would absolutely 100% walk rather than ever undermine the trust that people place in us."
not a maybe. 100%.
UK government ministers use Signal.
civil servants use Signal.
law enforcement officers use Signal.
the people writing the law that would break encryption use the app whose encryption they are trying to break. for their own sensitive communications.
they want a backdoor in your Signal.
not theirs.
and one more thing. this doesn't stay in the UK. Australia already has encryption-weakening laws. the EU has been debating the same measures. the Five Eyes alliance has pushed for backdoors for years. France tried it last year. Sweden is next.
every country watching this fight will use the outcome to justify their own demands.
what happens in London doesn't stay in London.
Remember how Labour has spent the past two years calling everyone racist for worrying about asylum seeker crime rates?
Well, the Ministry of Justice just admitted that asylum seekers are committing crimes at a higher rate than all other migrants.
Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, and Eritrea have been identified as the most common countries of origin AND the highest crime rates by nationality.
Starmer and Co. never usually miss a chance to promise they’ll “punish criminals to the fullest extent of the law.”
But they seem to be keeping rather quiet this time…
…Funny, that.
The petition to stop folic acid entering our flour is on 7,337 votes after three days.
Please keep sharing with friends and family.
If we kept up the current rate we could reach the target by the end of July.

1/ Today the Defence Secretary resigned because Starmer will not spend enough money on defence, which is quite something, because before we all start clapping like trained seals about tanks, missiles, Nato targets and which flag lapel pin everyone is wearing this week, there is a rather awkward question nobody in Westminster seems terribly keen to answer.
What exactly are we defending?
In a world that is this insecure, we should be increasing defence spending. It's literally one of the ONLY things the state should be spending money on.
This government is going to collapse. It's only a matter of time.
@samikshassotd As we should be making more of our own steel and producing our own energy. We are sitting ducks should our foreign suppliers decide to turn off the taps.
@samikshassotd I'd scrap gay marriage as that makes a mockery of what marriage should be and ban porn - I believe that's done untold damage. Excessive porn usage rewires the brain, changing the way we view people in the real world.
@samikshassotd From a civil liberties POV then I believe in free will but I take my moral authority from the Bible. We should not legislate compliance with a faith but we have to decide what morals we do legislate for as a society.
