This is the guy telling you how America should be on America’s 250th birthday.
Insanity.
The Mount Rushmore boys weigh in on modern America:
• men in women's sports?
• puberty blockers?
• is Canada gay?
• what is DEI?
• should Trump be the fifth bestie?
Republican Senator talking to a friend. "I've got a difficult choice."
Friend: "What is it?"
Repub Senator: "I must decide whether to serve John Thune - or serve the American people."
Friend: "What will you do?"
Senator: "I'll serve John Thune! But make a lot of tweets to look like I am serving the American people."
I guess New York will be finding out the true meaning of communism soon! 🎯🎯🎯
Capitalism gives you full shelves, multiple brands, competing prices, better service, and the freedom to choose what works for your family.
Socialism promises everything will be “free,” then somehow the shelves go empty, the lines get longer, the quality disappears, and the people in charge explain that the failure is actually fairness.
That is the difference.
In a free market, businesses have to earn your money. They have to compete. They have to stock what people want. They have to keep prices reasonable, treat customers well, and innovate, because if they do not, someone else will.
That is why the capitalism side of this cartoon is full of color, food, options, and normal people living normal lives.
Then look at the socialism side.
One can on the shelf. Sad faces. No choice. No abundance. No joy. Just rationing, excuses, and a government sign telling you to take what you are given.
And now New York City is about to test this in real life.
Zohran Mamdani has pushed city run grocery stores as part of his agenda, with the mayor’s office saying $70 million in capital funding has been allocated to develop five grocery store sites across the five boroughs. ([New York City Government][1])
The pitch is always the same, government will step in, government will lower prices, government will make life fair.
But government does not create abundance. Producers do. Farmers do. Truckers do. Store owners do. Workers do. Entrepreneurs do. Competition does.
Socialists see a full store and think the problem is that someone is making money. Normal people see a full store and understand that profit is part of what keeps the shelves full in the first place.
The choice is not complicated.
Capitalism gives people options.
Socialism gives people lectures.
And eventually, it gives them empty shelves.
FAFO 🚨
Mamdani tried to intervene in the sale of approx (5K) apt bldgs, so he can turn them into free housing
Judge David S Jones blocked it, saying (NYC) was not a preferred creditor
Big win for freedom and a huge loss for the Socialists in (NYC)
This is very telling!
Our Founding Fathers were all about WeThePeople, less government control and allowing the people of this country to make it or not based upon their hard work and innovation.
That was when people did the Civic Duty for the short-term; knowing it didn’t pay well but it was what you did as a Patriot … then you went home and got on with your life.
TODAY … Both Democrats and Republicans make careers out of politics WHICH HAS brought in levels of corruption our Founding Fathers fought against.
We need less EGOS and more TERM LIMITS, since our @dscc@SenateDems@NRSC@SenateGOP@HouseDemocrats@HouseGOP are too corrupt to do it themselves. Maybe we need to vote on this at the State levels (but then again, we have corrupt states too)!
