Today, March 14th, is #EqualPayDay
Women are paid 84 cents for every dollar a man makes. Add in women not working full-time year-round and that drops to just 77 cents.

We’re excited to highlight musician, artist & activist Lido Pimienta. Her work explores the politics of gender, race, motherhood, identity, and the construct of the Canadian landscape in the Latin American Diaspora & vernacular: https://t.co/Sfj7PeZbZB #HispanicHeritageMonth2022
Get inspired by listening to Vanessa Toro’s feature on the ¿Quién Tú Eres? podcast. In the episode “Pero I’m Growing w/ Vanessa Toro,” she discusses authenticity & how she “doesn’t save things for a special occasion because life is the occasion.” #Unidos#HispanicHeritageMonth
How have you been celebrating #HispanicHeritageMonth? VivaWomen of Color is loving the Unidos theme! So we are celebrating women of Color who are creating a more inclusive environment & opportunities to learn about different cultures. #Unidos#Publicis#VivaWomenofColor
Each year, the U.S. observes National Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15, by celebrating the history, culture, and contribution of US citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America. #HispanicHeritageMonth
212NYC is deeply heartbroken and disgusted to see continued crimes against the AAPI community. We support the AAPI community and acknowledge that today and the next few days may be challenging for many, whether allies or members of this community. Visit https://t.co/2DVHrWTNiq
Recently, VivaWomen of Color AAPI Community Lead, Kerou Chang, shared her perspective on the increasing anti-Asian violence – and what WE can do about it, TODAY.
#StopAsianHate#HateIsAVirus#EndRacismNow
We understand racism is a disease, not limited to a single ethnicity or group. America has a long, violent history of marginalizing Asian, Black, Hispanic, and Indigenous people – and yesterday was no different.
We (VivaWomen of Color) vehemently denounce ANY type of hate – directed at any group of people. More importantly, we need to show our Asian colleagues the same empathy and compassion we showed our Black colleagues last summer.
