Tips for creating a national strategy
*Keep going, use the momentum here! (UK)
*Strategy needs concrete actions with a budget (IE)
*Continue networking opportunities to brainstorm & share ideas (BR)
*Don’t stress; the people you need will find you at the right time! (US)
Some takeaways:
*Ensure any strategies are inclusive (broad) so more orgs can pull out what they need to advocate.
*Caregivers can keep sharing their stories as these stories (thick data) will help support the asks.

Last session on Nov 6 focused on working caregivers & the view from the HR depart. Key takeaways (2 of 6)
1. Create a psychologically safe space 4 working caregivers to identify if needed.
2. Caregivers note that a Compressed workweek is more helpful than a flexible work schedule
(5 of 6) 5. Having leadership onboard & leading but it is equally important to have managers prepared & comfortable before hand to ensure employees see the change leadership desire. Invest in equipping your managers/team leads to ensure they can deliver the new prog & approach.
