A PhD program should form scholars, not wear them down. After reflecting on Howard's HELPS Preview Experience, I wrote about why community, mentorship, and belonging should be central to doctoral education rather than optional.

Just finished #TheNightingale by @Kristin_Hannah1, and it left me undone.
Two sisters. One war. Endless courage.
A story about love, endurance, and what it means to survive when the world falls apart.

Just finished reading *On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous* by Ocean Vuong and I highly recommend it! 🌟 This book is a poignant exploration of racial identity, class, masculinity, addiction, the impact of the Vietnam war, family, and love. 📖✨
10/10. I recommend this fantastic book by @danieloblack. This novel is written as a love letter from a father who struggled to love his gay son. It is filled with pain, sorrow, regrets, and love. I finished the entire novel in one sitting, it’s that great!
@spamfriedrice, thank you so much for such a fantastic book! I love how you made this into a love letter for Té Té ❤️. One day, I’ll do the same for my child.
I highly recommend this book! It’s digestible and an excellent start for those who want to be educated on this topic.

"If the potential for criminal liability is taken off the table, wouldn't there be a significant risk that future presidents would be emboldened to commit crimes with abandon while they're in office?" -Justice #KetanjiBrownJackson#SCOTUS
