@SNAFU_Sara Investment strategies are tied to risk. How much risk are you willing/unwilling to take that you will lose some or all of that 5k? Your answer will guide your choice. CD/TBill has almost no risk, but also has almost no return. Stocks have more risk, but also give more return.
