@WUTangKids I went one time. I don't recall what I had, except for two details: it was severely over-seasoned (way too much salt), and it came with a side of green beans from a can. Never went back, most disappointing meal I've ever had when you figure in the popularity of the chain.
@AvAmericanX@maricla12676882@elonmusk 57% of the forest land in CA is federally owned, 40% is privately owned, and roughly 3% is owned by the state. So, most of this is the federal government's issue. Also, I didn't blame the Midwest for tornadoes existing, I asked if they "get what they deserve" for living there.

@AvAmericanX@elonmusk Wondering if you feel the same way about people who live in Tornado Alley? Every year tornadoes rip through the Midwest, and yet people continue to move there or rebuild the homes they lost in roughly the same place. Do they deserve it?
@Gibboanxious Fake computer screens. In nearly every film or TV show I've watched that involves characters using a computer, be it at home or at work, the screens feature a version of Google (for example) that looks like it was programmed by Wish. It always makes me laugh.
@horrormuseum My family and I met him at GalaxyCon this past August in San Jose. Just a very kind, sweet man. He made my little girl smile. He had other folks waiting but wasn't in a hurry to stop chatting with us. We feel so lucky to have had the opportunity.
@ZerellaElfenMag@TheColdCanuck @Ashy_slashee Just so you're aware, the title of the original Stephen King novella, published under his pseudonym Richard Bachman, is, in fact, "The Running Man."
@TheDreadStone I wanted to be a special effects make-up artist, like @TheRickBaker and @THETomSavini. However, my absolute inability to sculpt and lack of any real artistic talent prevented that. So, I stuck to watching their work and remain amazed by it.
@QuiGonJenna I feel old now, lol. My parents took me to ANH in '77, I was 3, almost 4. I don't remember much except the feelings I had, but I DO remember, after the film, walking to the car and my Dad asking what I thought, and I said "I want a Wookie friend!" And you know what? I still do.
