chainsaw needs fuel and oil mix... unlikely to find during an apocalypse and most ethanol based fuels go bad in 6 months. The shotgun requires ammo and it's like ringing a very loud dinner bell or any other survivors looking to loot you. The bat would be good for fast attack as the axe would possibly get stuck, but the bat is more likely to break and blunt trauma on your traditional zombie would not be as effective. So i suppose the Axe lol.
