Three weeks before today, you’re meant to:

1. Scale up network capacity
2. Scale app servers horizontal
3. Prepare the authentication system
4. Pre-scale before the IPO
5. Load-Test the entire system

You guys generate lots of revenue, but you don’t want to bear the engineering cost of process improvements.

People who know how to manage resources should get married. That, to me, is the simplest financial advice when it comes to marriage.

You can marry a rich man whose resources are poorly managed, and he eventually becomes broke or financially unstable. You can also marry a rich man who manages his money perfectly, but life happens and circumstances change, leaving him with far less than he once had.

So what happens then?

Marriage shouldn’t be built solely around the assumption that one person will always have money. Two consenting adults who are financially responsible, reasonable, and capable of managing resources should be able to build a life together.
