@SelcoBW please can you pass on my thanks to the Thurrock Team. Helped a girl in distress (me!!) massively when I got myself in a bit of a state of panic in store earlier and sorted out a delivery. Tired pharmacists and building materials dont mix apparently!! ๐๐ #verygrateful
Been a busy month - exciting things happening at work (TBA soon!) aaaandddd... we are in the middle of purchasing our first house ๐๐ Now ๐ค everything goes smoothly there!

@PharmacistCoop An interesting view! I hope the current (and upcoming with university uncertainty right now) pre-reg's get some answers soon for their peace of mind.
Boyfriends social distancing team meeting was a cocktail class (or mocktails if preferred!). Decided to hover around the kitchen to see if any cocktails would come my way... was a winner! He doesnt miss community pharmacy with these kind of team meetings ๐ซ๐
Spend a good 3 days off. Disney+ on binge-mode and trying to finish #knitting my first jumper. Will be ready by winter at this rate I'm sure ๐ #weekendoff#frontline#hobby
@JmilnerPharm I say pharmacy as community setting purely because its what I have read it before based upon! Which setting were they presenting this to you?
@JmilnerPharm What date was this from? This looks like the earlier guidance for 'if an infected patient comes into the pharmacy' from 3ish weeks ago. Kind of overruled now by close household contact with someone with symptoms I'd say ๐ค๐ค
Happy Easter from the PDA. We want to take this opportunity to let you know that we appreciate that this is a very difficult and uncertain time, with many of us away from loved ones, but we hope you take some time to relax and enjoy your bank holiday weekend.
Community pharmacies are working hard around the UK in #pharmacy to ensure patients get their medication. So, we have decided to create a video diary of #pharmacists from around UK which we will update on a regular basis.

@laulok what a trooper! it just shouldn't be happening. COVID tensions cannot be an excuse for this - we are all under such pressure, keyworker or public. Hopefully zero tolerance for this individual and appropriately dealt with!

Got the chance to speak and represent how we are all feeling.
Hoping this gave some insight and represented us all well. #pharmacy#pharmacist#frontline
In this war against the Coronavirus in England the community pharmacy troops are being asked to join the front line, without ammunition, without helmets, without rations and without re-enforcements; it is a travesty. https://t.co/z9ZyXoUIxq
@Iqera3 The PDA is pharmacists supporting each other and standing together, thatโs why we are called a โunionโ. Thereโs 30,000 of us, looking after the interests of prereg trainees, students and pharmacists. We certainly care.
Dear locum #pharmacists,
If you are still being threatened with being reported to @TheGPhC by locum agencies, rota coordinators or employers for trying to negotiate a rate which you feel is fair, then please show them this timely update from @the_pda ๐ช๐ฝ
