Pharos Pacific Ocean Mainnet is LIVE! โ
The first asset-native, institution-grade L1 engineered for high performance and regulatory compliance, bridging the gap between deep liquidity and real-world impact
Today, Pharos sets sail for the global stage ๐
Institutional adoption rarely arrives as a single moment. By the time market definitions fully converge, much of the structural transition may already be underway
Looking ahead, forecasts for tokenized assets vary a lot but they all point in the same direction: growth.
McKinsey: $2โ4T by 2030.
Ark Invest: $11T by 2030.
BCG/Ripple: $9.4T by 2030, $18.9T by 2033.
Standard Chartered: $30T + by 2034.
The gap between $2 trillion and $30 trillion is more about definitions than adoption.
Different institutions are measuring different things. McKinsey focuses mostly on bonds, loans, funds, and equities. Standard Chartered adds commodities and trade finance. BCG and Ripple include deposits and stablecoins alongside more traditional asset categories.
Despite these differences, the broader trend is consistent: Asset tokenization is expected to expand.
๐ Look at the strong piece on why the next institutional edge may come from the infrastructure coordinating capital flows, not the trading layer itself by The Street:
https://t.co/vnl1sW6cY6
โCapital markets are increasingly shifting from competition at the trading layer to competition at the infrastructure layer. Trading and execution have become highly efficient and, in many cases, heavily commoditized.
The bigger strategic advantage now comes from controlling the systems that handle custody, settlement, collateral movement, and asset servicing.โ

RWA adoption in 2026 is consolidating around 2 distinct user cohorts:
โข DeFi-native yield strategists using RWAs as composable yield primitives
โข Institutional allocators prioritizing auditability and real-time asset verification
The divergence is already visible in market structure. Hydration data shows $22.5M+ in LST collateral currently deployed into yield-bearing RWA positions, signaling growing demand for โLST ร RWAโ strategies rather than passive exposure
At the same time, even flagship products like BlackRockโs BUIDL still exhibit highly concentrated holder bases and limited secondary turnover, reinforcing persistent concerns around liquidity and transparency

RealFi Industry News Highlight: ๐งต

Real-world yield, cross-chain infrastructure, onchain identity, and growing liquidity
Here's what moved across the Pharos ecosystem this week ๐
- RealFi / Capital Markets
@open_fi_ introduced a $100M USDC Deposit Program designed to connect everyday wallet users with institutional-grade RWA yield, using pAlpha as collateral and real-world cash flows as the foundation
@AssetoFinance also partnered with @cityprotocolHQ to expand distribution pathways for tokenized RWAs, bringing compliant yield-bearing assets closer to fintech, neobanking, and onchain financial applications
- Infrastructure & Interoperability
@FordefiHQ added support for native cross-chain USDC transfers via @circle CCTP, enabling institutions to move capital across supported EVM networks within existing custody and compliance workflows
@lifiprotocol launched the Intents, a modular framework for open intent-based execution designed to support everything from cross-chain transactions to enterprise and RWA use cases
That infrastructure is already reaching users through @jumperapp, where the Intents now powers near-instant, low-slippage USDC transfers across chains
- Identity & Community
@PNSDID officially launched Pharos Naming Service, bringing decentralized identity infrastructure to the ecosystem while opening community participation around premium names and onchain identity
Meanwhile, @Arkada_gg launched a dedicated Pharos social campaign, helping users explore projects across the ecosystem and engage with emerging applications
- DeFi & Liquidity
@FaroSwap highlighted growing activity on Pharos mainnet, with WPROS/USDC liquidity pools generating significant fee-driven returns as onchain trading volume continues to develop.
๐
Across the ecosystem, teams continued expanding the building blocks of RealFi from tokenized assets and capital distribution to identity, interoperability, and liquidity infrastructure
Regulatory clarity is starting to separate speculative blockchains from financial infrastructure
As the SEC & CFTC move toward clearer commodity frameworks for decentralized assets, institutions are no longer only evaluating throughput. They are evaluating settlement credibility, operational neutrality, and whether a chain can realistically support regulated capital at scale
One of the clearest signals in the RWA market is that Ethereum now settles the majority of tokenized assets not because institutions suddenly became crypto-native, but because capital markets fundamentally value neutral settlement layers, credible infrastructure, and composability across financial applications
As RWAs scale, chains will increasingly compete on settlement credibility rather than culture or narratives. The next phase of tokenization will likely be defined less by who can launch assets fastest, and more by who can support compliant, deterministic, and globally coordinated financial activity at scale

If you had to ask 5 questions before investing in any L1 in 2026, what would they be?
Pharos Research published theirs, starting with the one most people get wrong:
"Where does the tech edge actually come from?"
