• He has set the standard for the League Title so high that big teams had to accept, reflect, and adapt!
• He made his Sundowns team one of the most feared teams in Africa, not unbeatable, but a feared ruthless opponent.

• We knew winning the league was close to impossible with the type of football that Sundowns played with each passing game in the league.

• When we say let our players be free to express themselves on the ball, he was a symbol of this with the tactics on the bench. A tactical extremist. A perfectionist obsessed with total dominance.
