@Soniasketchex Sonia, i just connected with you, and I noticed you are a sketch artist. I started pencil sketching about two years ago, but dropped it when dx with cancer. I’ve never had lessons, and you’ve encouraged me to start back. Thank you!
@greta Amen! That’s wonderful news! I’m in treatment for Multiple Myeloma myself, and I want to hear the word: remission! Fortunately, I don’t take chemotherapy or radiation!
@MissyBuchanan It’s really disheartening to hear stories like that. Changes on the economic landscape can fluctuate drastically. However, the good news is the human heart remains pretty much the same—the capacity to empathize with and love others.
@MissyBuchanan Good morning Missy! I get email updates from my denomination almost daily, and this morning was an especially interesting article entitled: “The silent exodus of senior adults” from church participation. Have you noticed this alarming trend?
@MissyBuchanan I can personally vouch for your post, Missy. I served in ministry full time for many years in a variety of roles. I now use a byline: “Retired, but never quit.” And, I’m now into God’s Word with more intentionality than ever.
@atensnut Back in about 1950, I remember like it was yesterday, in the corner of my grandmother’s living room there was a large contraption with fabric stretched across it. I was so enamored by it. It was what she called a quilting loom. I’d sit and watch her for what seemed like hours.
